Allegheny County Deeds

Allegheny County DeedsI live in the state of PA - Can I be evicted from the place where I live?

My fiance and I live together and have so for the last 8 months. We worked with a realtor to find our home and two weeks before closing I lost my job and we had to drop the mortgage and my fiance paid cash for the house (the mortgage was in my name and that we would pay half and half cash loan). Thus, in November 2009, he bought the house and the deed is in his name.

We moved in January 2010 and left my apartment when the lease is up. All bills are home to my name .... Electric, water, sewage, garbage, cable, Internet and telephone. I was put off until last month and received two paychecks and handed both to him to help pay the bills. I have never signed a lease or something or that sort. He owns the house and I own everything inside of it because when he met me, he still lived with his parents after his serious car accident and had his truck and clothing.
Tonight he told me he was done and I wanted after we had an argument and started to move all my belongings in the garage. I told him that I'm not going anywhere because I was not doing anything illegal, and I had the right to be in this house.

What can I do legally? I did not even fight with him to cause a disturbance I was tired of working 6 days and did not want to go shopping tonight, and he returned.

The law can he just throw me out? Should he call the police to let me off (more like his mother's appeal) could they do something?

I live in the State of Pennsylvania and Allegheny County.

Thank you!

No, you can not be expelled. He needs to follow the eviction proceedings before the appropriate court.

First, ignore the responses of the Shares and Gray, they are ignorant of the law.
Kevin is the right answer. You are a tenant permits and can not be deleted from your residence, unless prescribed by your county court.
Your boyfriend can not touch your property, change the locks or take action to physically remove you without risking arrest or civil liability.
I hope you can see when things calm down, but if not take it as a blessing you found out about his temper and immaturity now instead of later.
Remember to ask your relocation expenses.

If you set as your home, you go out, he has to evict you. ways to show that you put in place as your home, including utilities, telephone, etc., in your name to the address, there is important mail received such tax documents, that sort of thing. If he changes the locks, get a U-Haul and some friends, go and demand all the furniture, etc. that you own, clothing, appliances that do not come with the house, etc. If it does with it, he has stolen. When you get your equipment, then call to have everything off, set off for approximately 4:30 PM.

gw_bushisamoron,
Why do you tell him to ignore me, then give the same advice? I told him he can not just tell him to leave, he has to act in court, (it is right that I declare that the action is taken to be), and can have him arrested if he locks. Then you give the same advice, just a different formulation.

Read before you condemn.

The only way it can be removed from the house by filing documents with the courts and have you served. Until you have mail in your name to come to this address and your belongings are there, nobody other than law enforcement officer with deportation papers were filed in court, you can physically remove this house. Your fiancee is now essentially the owner. He can not change the locks and lock you out, turn off power or utilities to force you to leave. Only the court has filed pa.
