| MarketplaceAsian Flu Are we in a new pandemic of Asian flu? In 1957, there was a very serious Asian influenza pandemic that killed between 1 million people to 4 million people. Different agencies give different figures, but even in a million that you are looking for a large number of people. Anyway this strain of Asian flu was finally dealt with and all was well again until October 2004. This is the year when a U.S. laboratory sent samples of this mortal, deadly strain of Asian flu in different laboratories worldwide. Now I am not talking about some samples miserable deadly Asian flu, I'm talking about 3,700 samples of Asian flu. Have you all on the part of the world?
Now of course the United States fighting to try to correct this horrible mistake, they do their best to get all the excesses of the samples destroyed the Asian flu, but, well, good luck. It laboratories did not know they would be getting such a potentially deadly virus sent. So how did this happen you ask?
It is an organization called the College of American Pathologists and what they do from time to time is to send viruses to different laboratories around the world. They do this so that these laboratories can test to see how well they do. The CAP is supposed to know what they send if it is only the receiving laboratory is in the dark. Well, the CAP thought they were sending regular old influenza A virus, but Oops, not so much. Instead they sent one of the deadliest viruses in human history: the Asian flu.
The thing is, if the Asian flu has not released or if the world could be in big trouble. None of us who were born after 1968 will be able to fend off the Asian flu of all, we all have absolutely no immunity to it, it means that the Asian flu hit us as hard or worse than the people in 1957.
Supposedly this episode of flu across Asia is a kind of misunderstanding, but how could this have happened is it still a mystery. How could sample the Asian flu of 3700 is set in the world by accident? They were sent to Asia, the Middle East, North America and South America and Europe.
What strikes fear into the heart of so many know, is that these test kits that I have sent have been treated as test kits are other treaties that is not a good thing when it they contain is a deadly flu in Asia. The samples of Asian flu should be handled with extreme care and a high level of containment, but they were not. Because these types of kits generally contain harmless something they have been treated as such. This doe not bode well for us, the public when it comes to protect us from the Asian flu.
