Backyard Decks

We moved here a few years ago and slowly getting things to look nice. The previous owner does not give a shit in the yard or anything. The deck looks like it has never been treated. Is it possible that I can make it look nice? What are the steps? My pressure son of a piece of lava, and it is much cleaner, but what can I put on it to look pretty??

Pressure wash everything. Let dry. Then, spray on a WaterSeal. The sealing of the water will darken the wood. You can even find sealers with water stains in the color of the wood below. Use one of these sprays, as you would use to fertlize or discharge of herbicides to spray the sealer on the deck.

I did it once before. We carefully pressure washed across the deck and let it dry completely (about 24 hours). Then we set the stain with a paint roller. Most deck stains are mixed with a stain fighter and can be applied in a single step. This seems to work well for us.
