Does the vinyl floor tiles or linoleum allowed to meet tile in the bathroom? I bought a house with a floor tiled bathroom and they are very dirty, old carpet glued to their owners! I wondered if I could cover them with vinyl floor tiles or linoleum, but I'm concerned, it does not stick properly. Anyone who has ideas about this?
Rip all.
put a new floor in and then glue your linoleum
otherwise it wont work
I do not think they will stick properlly. I like to use a wood laminate flooring, you must install a cushion under them, and you will feel no high and low spots on the carpet adhesive. Use molding base map to cover the edge of the floor.
you must pull out all the tiles first. The tiles will be more resilient than vinyl and increase the value of homes in vinyl. If some are broken, you can replace only the few. I would like to review what you do. I am a real estate broker to retire. So believe me on the value of the house vs. vinyl ceramic.
snatch and redo the time you thin (cleaning tile real first), then repeat again and risk of collision between the lines of grout through the vinyl, it is not worth the risk, but yes we can do .. If the house again for you again right when the money is right when he looks like a Don t JPB Mickey Mouse on the road and you'll eventually redo it ..
If the glue comes off and carpet tile is authorized to consider staining the grout to make it look good until you can retile / vinyl that you want to do then, all donations of t he peak in GL
