Bird Bangers

Bird BangersBangers birds do much more local farm too loud! help!?

Hello, I need advice please.

We live near a farm that is the use of propane cannons (bird bangers) to scare the birds.

The noise is so strong and so pervasive that we can not have our windows open and explosions from about five hours to 23 hours in progress - they emit a noise like a gunshot and blast average 3 blasts one minute at 120-130 decibels.

I have a child who can not sleep and a husband who goes mad.

Does anyone know what the right to these things - we live in the UK - can be a nuisance "what can we do to stop it?"

Sophia

I absolutely love for you. I have trouble just walking through explosions of fireworks in the neighborhood on July 4th and New Year - I can not imagine living with noise like that every day. I would say that I found a British law forbidding it, but I did not.

The instrument noise the most recent in the United Kingdom allows local authorities to deal with excessive noise during the night hours, which he defines as 11:00 p.m. to 7:00. In addition, "noise is regulated in a growing number of laws. More commonly used are the legal provisions contained in the Act nuisances Environmental Protection 1990, which applies to a" noise emitted from premises so prejudicial to health or nuisance. "This allows local government officials to serve notice of a reduction on noisemakers, subject to certain limitations, some of which are outlined in the Act, some of which are derived from case law. other laws relating to noise are noise nuisance and statutory law in 1993, the 1996 Act and the Clean Neighbourhood noise and Environment Act 2005. "

I also found that the techniques in aquatic environments and the devices are a common problem in many countries. They address a problem (birds and crops) and sometimes other causes (the guns to gas). A recent study has been conducted on different methods, and gas guns actually turned out not to be a very effective method because the birds get used to it. But they are cheaper than firecrackers rights. (Did you first job of JM Barrie was like a bird scarer when he was 9? I learned a lot about this research!)

Essentially, the government's recommendations were first talking to your neighbor, if that fails, contact your local authorities (not with the 999!) And ask for help.

There is also a government brochure on the news of the bird-bangers: http://www.eastcambs.gov.uk/docs/publica ...

Here are some links to organizations dealing with problems of noise nuisance in the United Kingdom: http://www.eastcambs.gov.uk/html/faq_int ...

Bird bangers ... lol. sucks for you ...

hmm, have you always lived in the country or have you chosen to go there and can not handle the noise in rural normal.
Buy earplugs

you should have some sort of application services to the law, right??? Give them a ring and ask them if they can pay a visit to noisy neighbors. Did you ask offenders about the noise? Some people do not understand that there are others who live in the world with them. So they do what they want because they are simply unaware of these concerns and the inconvenience they cause to everyone.

It's awful. Have you spoken to the manager of the farm on that? It might not be aware that it is the cause of such disturbances.

I'm sure this can not be allowed, but you should talk to the police. In Scotland, we have community councils, then they have no legal status, may exert pressure on such offenders. We had a problem much less with someone who thought it was fun to drive and our country wi quiet roads.
