Black and white striped vest with a solid black pencil skirt? I have one thing to mock trial at school Monday and I am a lawyer. I think a black pencil skirt, black leather pumps, a white blouse (or maybe a gold satin blouse, we shall see) with a black jacket with stripes. I also have a plain black vest, but it's really loose, but the streak is tight and gives me a nice silhouette of an hourglass. Would it look good with a plain black skirt?

1) it is really difficult to get the vest / skirt combo right, why not try a sophisticated, feminine blazer?
2) stripes should be worn with thin stripes. it is unbalanced and can look unproffessional.
