Brazil Tours

I'm looking to go somewhere late December. I want something that is about 3-5 days and less than $ 1,000 per person. Ideally, I want to go on a tour that is a bit more adventurous (not one where you can bring the kids). I am also looking for reputable companies or programs. Safety is a major concern. Any input is greatly appreciated. Five stars for the best.
