Chenille Fabric

Chenille FabricHelp laundering chenille?

I have several sweaters Caterpillar. Some say you can wash and dry them well .. but many others that you can hand wash, no spin, no twist, and must lay flat to dry. My question is ... I do not really handy to wash, or do I have them on delicate cycle? I mean, how do you even clear the water of them, if you can not bend or twist them?

The only time I washed mine, as you describe above, they have lost some shape and softness. I've rolled in a towel to get some of the moisture away, but they took some time to dry.

I wash mine on gentle cycle, then dry flat. (If they are too wet, I put them on a towel, then roll like a jelly roll to absorb excess water before laying them flat.
