Do outdoor copper hanging birdbaths work? I am thinking of buying a bird bath copper suspended for the garden and I was wondering if anyone else had experience with them. The birds like them?
I have not owned one, but I have read and heard that birds like drops of bath that are stable (not moving). A suspension element would naturally tend to move and sway in the wind. A bird bath is usually more permanent would result. Also birds like a place where they can see everything around them to see if they are safe, and is suspended from something (ie a tree), they do not feel safe from a predator ( cat) could be in the tree and they do not know.
Yes, birds like them, but you must remember to change the water every morning
No, hate birds copper. The reason for this is a longwinded tale that began in the early 1800s. At that time, the birds have been enslaved by a race of dwarf like creatures known as the Italians. They set up mines in the hills of Carpatia where land is rich in minerals of precious metals. They forced the birds to work long hours for the mining of copper with only twenty minutes each day and lunch option dull 401k. That lasted until 1868 when Billy Zane led the Italians to help noting the Carpathia, but an egg beater and a horse named Pete spicy. Birds 401k package has long since dried and they now live a peaceful life as landscapers and men to repair the cables.
