After the first Dream Chronicles trilogy, travel Faye ended. Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air begins the adventures of Lyra the chosen child, daughter of Faye and Fidget the fairy. Just before his 18th birthday, Lyra suddenly finds himself caught in what appears to be a cross between a dream and an alternate dimension. With the advice of his grandfather, help Lyra find the mysterious clockmaker and find her way!

Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air is the fourth installment of the Dream Chronicles adventure puzzle game series. After the first three games, stories and adventures of main character Faye has finally come to a close. Now the spotlight Lyra, the daughter of Faye and Fidget the fairy. Lyra is the chosen child of prophecy, and is destined to become the next Lord Fairy, and the book Air is the beginning of his incredible journey.

The Book of the air begins on the eve of the 18th anniversary of Lyra. In what seems like a dream, Lyra sees a group of people near her, with her grandfather among them. Like his grandfather is about to hand his gift, everything becomes black and Lyra wakes up outside his old school. Unfortunately, it does not look like she's really at his school because there are bolts of energy arc in the sky and destroy the things around her, and the whole place is deserted!

Trapped in what appears to be an alternate dimension, Lyra is to find a way to escape and return home. Fortunately, his grandfather was able to come into contact with it, and is able to provide advice and help overcome the obstacles in his path. Lyra adventure is presented in the game as an adventure and puzzle game hybrid. The main interface shows the current location Lyra, where you can interact with various objects. You must solve intricate puzzles and find hidden objects skillfully to advance in the game

The first thing you see when reading the Book of the air is absolutely amazing how the art is. Beautifully hand-painted art and subtle CGI and animation combine to create an atmosphere steampunk-fantasy that is simply breathtaking. Dream Chronicles series has always been famous for great artwork, but the latter game has definitely established a new standard. Add to that a soundtrack very credible voice and action, and you have a great piece of entertainment!

The puzzles in this game are quite original and quite difficult. There are some puzzles standard such as puzzles and logic games, but they are accompanied by more unique and original games such as encryption, crosswords and combination locks to name but a few . Many of the puzzles have also been integrated into the screen of the main adventure, offering a smoother gaming experience. Rather than having to click on an object to start a puzzle, these puzzles are solved by moving or interacting with objects on the main screen.

The Book of Air also adds an element of growth (or upgrade, in terms RPGs). There are jewel scattered in various places in the game, and you free up some capacity, when you find enough of them. Find ten of these coins will unlock the ability to decipher number codes, another twenty pieces will unlock the ability to reveal hidden objects as if by magic, and so on. These capabilities also serve as barriers that prevent you from accessing areas more difficult, because you'll need to solve some puzzles that you encounter.

Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air is a great puzzle adventure game that will satisfy both newcomers and fans of the series itself. The production quality of the game is top notch, as seen in art almost perfect and the soundtrack as well as intricate puzzles and detailed history. This game is also designed to be the first of a trilogy chronicles dream with Lyra again then.
