Read on a forum that if you use K & N Drop in air filter on the engine Nissan QG15 you reflash the ECU? The reason being that the computer needs to reflash to know that the more air is sucked into the engine thus gain more horsepower than another increase of performance will be null and any void.Can whether and how to explain true that I can try flashing my ECU
Not necessarily, but you'll get a little better .... performace Just unplug the ECU fuse for about 30 seconds, then back in. This will reset your ECU.
Others simply Unhook the battery for 30 seconds, but erases all stored radio stations and almost all the memory options. Good luck.
You should not have to do anything just to install a filter K & N They do not increase enough power or pull the air enough to have to do. At best, you'll have a couple with the HP filter.
