Hermit Crabs

One of the easiest to keep exotic animals is the terrestrial hermit crab. With the need to walk or wash the dog, or the problems that go with the litter, you can see where the crab would be much simpler. In the absence of a bird cage to clean or without fish tank, partially drain and then readjust the chemicals from the water, you can see where the shit hermit land can be easier. Just make sure the top of the cage is covered like the crab out.

A little more supplies such as food and water dishes are necessary. We believe that what ever the food is good for us humans, it is also good for the land hermit crab. Keep in mind the fatty foods are high in sugar is bad for us and crabs. While you can buy hermit crab food stores for pets, they like the same things that we love.
