I am doing my family tree and have great difficulty finding my dads family. Where can I watch? I used Ancestry.com, a large family, CousintoCousin, Archies national and I am nowhere. Find in 1920, then losing them. You do not have a Mormon Chuch nearby to go in search of documents. Know NY Public Library could probably help as they have a large genealogy library. Where can I watch?
If you have subscribed to the image of the census, you can expect to be more precise than they are. I spent several hundred hours with the census. I'v elearned things. I wrote an article about one of my "hunting" TRIPS, which illustrates some of the tactics, you can try. It is here:

Have you tried here? Would you say that you can not find them in the 1930 census or 1900 census?

Mormon website, you do not need to find a church more than it is online.

Hope this helps
You really should try the public library. Do not expect to find it all online. Beware also of the family tree on a website, free or paid. The Internet has been very useful for genealogy, but the errors have increased big time because people copy information from the family trees of others. Ancestry.Com I think is best for the total amount of files online, but you still need a distinction between the documents they have obtained and their subscribers submitted family trees. I enjoy going to Old research when I go to their web site that I can more easily locate specific files I would like to view. I do not recommend, for example, a large family like the family trees of all that he has submitted are subscribers.
Here's a link with links to many other sites, some free, some charge, some I like and some not at all.

Good pedigree means good documentation and a copy of the pedigree of another is not good documentation online or in a book published. The information may be useful as only clues where to get documentation.
Do not expect to find information on family life on genealogy sites which may be an invasion of privacy and can lead to identity theft.
You should always get as much information as possible in life. Determine if everything Bibles family. Ask to see and make copies of birth, marriage and death. In addition, according to religious faith, baptism, first communion, confirmation and marriage of their church may be useful. Interview members of your leadership and the bands if they let you. It is likely that they tell you stories of events in the past that you would not write, but you may find later, contains many clues. People who have this condition, they went back and listened to the tape after doing research and hearing things they had not heard the first time.
This is a bit of history comes into play. You found in 1920 - where?? It was just after the First World War when many people moved to the first time in years. Where people live where you found them come from and why - work is usually the reason - if what was done for big industry where you foundation.
