How to build a stand playing parrot? How do you build a (not buy one in a store) and have wheels on it and be as large as 6 feet tall with the base at the height around the waist and about 2 feet by 3 feet long?
I know people who built playstands PVC pipes - and they wrapped the pipes with the EFF-wrap (it is available in almost any pet store and it comes with all sorts of colors) give the birds' feet grip. They macaws and the only thing they have built is huge, but I'm sure it can be done at any scale. They built them on a platform with wheels on the bottom, so they can move.
I made one for my Caicos on one of those folding dryer (the kind you use on the inside). I wrapped all the pegs Supreme cotton rope (which will not hang their claws and is completely safe for them to chew).
Go to a store for pets or show birds, etc. and find the one you love. Then duplicate the design.
I have built in PVC pipe and / or wood. PVC is a bit more sustainable than large parrots (like my double yellow headed Amazon) can quickly reduce a wooden structure with toothpicks.
