Porter Cable

I've got two Porter Cable Sander are both relatively new and died on me today. Before you go and buy another, can someone tell me what kind of maintenance do they need to stop it happening to me again?

If this is the drywall sander with the VAC system is probably the brushes. Some more recent tools have automatic shutdown if brushes wear too.
If this is a palm sander or orbital sander, they are not made of sand drywall dust probably entered the engine and brushes. This dust is very hard on tools, air shoes inputs and leads to overheating.
Blow with low air pistol air compressor, leads to a repair shop tools. Brushes and replace the work of $ 20 - $ 30.

do not mean to be impertinent, but have you checked the fuse if it is not present then its prob a bad connection
