How do I unlock my hard drive that was locked with an Xbox that does not work? I had an XBOX soft-modded and he stopped working on me. I took it for a guy to fix and he said the mother was fried from a welding job earlier. So I put in my new XBOX and had put a chip on it and take the hard drive of the old soft-modded. However the 250 GB hard drive from the soft-modded XBOX is locked.
I heard that maybe there is software out there or a company, I can send my hard drive costs $ 30 and they will free him but I do not know where to look. My physical skills are null and void if I needed someone to do it or have a simplified way for me to do.

This neat little program on www.xbox-scene.com they related to. It is a hard disk unlocking application to help unlock a locked hard drive.
